I love to read books! I enjoy reading YA, some romance, Paranormal, Suspense, Thriller, Horror, and clean New adult genres.

Just pages and pages of Rant and Raves. Forward Slash by Louise Voss and Mark Edwards. Finally got into some reading after months and months of doing some random shit! I feel so good to be honest. Starting to feel like my olde self again. I got this book as an impulse buy at kinokuniya Singapore. I thought at first the premise at the back was sorta funny but it did feel like it had some interesting elements to it so i bought it.

Grace is a hard book to review. The extremely spare prose created an atmosphere that was both bleak and menacing, which worked with the ambiguous allusions to a world ruled by violent dictatorship, sexual favours and fear. But as a dystopian, Grace was riddled with plot holes and confusing world-building.

While it was entertaining, I found it followed a pretty standard fantasy plot.
