For the random assortment of books I pick up and read, cause to write well you have to read. A little slow, but enjoyable. I found the first part of the book to be the most boring, and it does take a while for them to jump into the past, but once that happens the intrigue starts to settle in and I found that once there the story had a lot of twists and turns that resulted in an enjoyable ending.
