So I have decided to rate this as if it were just the first half of a book because that is what it seems to be. This is the first half or Part I of a much larger book in my opinion. I liked Emma right away. She is a headstrong teenager and is a little wild yes but she is feisty and stands her ground. I love that in a female character. When she meets our hero Jonah and he is less than inviting she says.

I have published two books in a dark fantasy series about heroic werewolves that begins in the medieval era and ends in the not so distant future. I am currently writing the third book. Tough Shit by Kevin Smith. I like Kevin Smith which is why I was sure I would vastly enjoy his book if it would be written and narrated with the attitude of Kevin Smith, no holds barred.
